The Workshop Using a variety of techniques and tools derived from the armourers and blacksmiths of the 18th century -- along with lots of elbow grease and bad language -- we wrestle flat materials into delightful curves.  We then hand cut the landmasses, using the arcane art of map projections. (There are 319 possible projections to choose from.) We pride ourselves on the accuracy of the continents and islands as well as the fit and finish of our globes.
